We took Kelsey swimming for the first time this last weekend. At first she wasn't so sure about the water, but as you will see kicking in the pool brought out a rather unique facial feature!

Santa Cruz

We went to Santa Cruz for vacation these past few weeks. Traveling at night, a definate must with a munchkin! Here are some shots from our time.

Justin's dad's B-day is the 4th of July. He and Kelsey opened presents together.

Just the two of us...

For graduation from seminary Justin's family gave us a night in Carmel, babysitting included:) Thank you so much!! We had a fabulous time!

Justin and I on 17 mile drive along the coast. This drive includes Pebble beach golf course and a ton of amazing homes and pretty spectacular views.


We couldn't have asked for a prettier day!



Here is the Inn we stayed in. It was built in the 1920's and a block from the beach. This was a definite favorite vacation stay for us.

The seahorses were my favorite! I couldn't get over the coral in this picture. Did you know that the males are the ones who bare the babies? (The seahorse is yellow and at the bottom of the pic)



Justin's favorite were the jellyfish. A couple of great questions we got answered...Do jellyfish have eyes? How do you determine how old they are?
